New risk assessments

Ten new risk assessments were uploaded to the GB Non-native Species Secretariat website today.  They are available for comment for a period of three months.  Stakeholders are invited to submit comments on the evidence that underpin the risk assessment using this form (RA01 risk assessment comments (Word)) to nnss@apha.gov.uk.

The list of new assessment available includes:

  • Acer rufinerve, Snake-bark maple
  • Akebia quinate, Chocolate vine
  • Amelanchier spicata, Thicket shadbush
  • Arundo donax, Giant Cane
  • Cipangopaludina chinensis, Chinese mystery snail
  • Dikerogammarus bispinosus, An amphipod
  • Neogobius melanostomus, Round goby
  • Sarracenia purpurea, Purple pitcher plant
  • Sinanodonta woodiana, Chinese pond mussel
  • Urosalpinx cinerea, Atlantic oyster drill
