Ten new risk assessments were uploaded to the GB Non-native Species Secretariat website today. They are available for comment for a period of three months. Stakeholders are invited to submit comments on the evidence that underpin the risk assessment using this form (RA01 risk assessment comments (Word)) to nnss@apha.gov.uk.
The list of new assessment available includes:
- Acer rufinerve, Snake-bark maple
- Akebia quinate, Chocolate vine
- Amelanchier spicata, Thicket shadbush
- Arundo donax, Giant Cane
- Cipangopaludina chinensis, Chinese mystery snail
- Dikerogammarus bispinosus, An amphipod
- Neogobius melanostomus, Round goby
- Sarracenia purpurea, Purple pitcher plant
- Sinanodonta woodiana, Chinese pond mussel
- Urosalpinx cinerea, Atlantic oyster drill
